First Look
Unlike Events, Flow Webinar Rooms require attendees to have permanent accounts. With Flow, we provided admin accounts for hosts, while attendees could only join via Single Sign-On (SSO) or as guests,
On our legacy platform, Webinato, the Registered Users feature allowed you to create and manage user accounts without relying on SSO or guest access, which wasn’t ideal since unlimited guests could join without personal accounts.
Now, Flow offers Registered User accounts, enabling you to create and manage attendees and provide attendee access—even if you don’t have your own website to use advanced features like SSO.
Why Registered Users?
What are the reasons for using this feature?
- Guest access is not secure - anyone can share the guest password, and you cannot control the misuse.
- To implement SSO, you have to have your own website.
- If you do not have a website, you have to rely on an unsafe method.
- You can easily create, invite, add/remove attendees from rooms, and manage them like a PRO with this feature
- In addition, now they can access replays (recordings) without you having to host them in some other place, such as on your website or another file-sharing site.
